Video Narration“To be a gay couple and to have the babies, we basically had to do a DNA test their in Australia and they send the kits, after the baby is born and we DNA test them here. They are sent back to Australian through the high commission and then the passports are given. There is a bit of procedure and the paper work as it’s the new baby to take out of the country, so there is lot of admin to do which is understandable.
We have got great lawyers here. Once again drivers biggest job was to take us to different offices we need to go to. The Australian high commission is great, they are working with us to get the exit visas. So we should be here for maybe 2 and a half weeks before we have to leave. We met some English guys the other night, acc to the UK system they will have to be here for 3 to 6 months. So Australia has a good system.”
