“We charge IVF at home in Australia.  We have 3 cycles of IVF but unfortunately I am 39 years of age and I was classified at …….. and I didn’t have the age they required to complete an IVF cycle.  Through that, we basically, started doing a lot of research about what our options were and really surrogacy was one of the options. Adoption have taken us far too long the process and with our age and things like that and medical rules will be against us.So we went along the surrogacy line and did a lot of investigation about 12 months before we finally came along…

We arrived in Delhi in January and through our case manager in Australia, Megon.  she helped us taking some accommodation for us and we had regular appointments with the doctor.  We had already supplied blood examinations and semen examinations and reports back home in Australia.  Our aim of going home in January was for my husband to sperm donations and so did they can….. and also for our first attempt to actually implantation and we were desperately …. that to become pregnant.  We were disillusioned at all that doctor has never promised that we would be successful that she would do her best in achieving a positive pregnancy.  But for some people it can take 3-4 baby goes, we were very blessed to be pregnant with the first go.  Initially we wanted to best, improve our odds.  We used two surrogates, both surrogates were pregnant.  Our surrogate that has blessed us with our twins, was pregnant with twins.  We also had another surrogate who was pregnant with a single and unfortunately she miscarriage at 8 and a half weeks.”

“We were overjoyed when we finally met our babies, 3 days old when we met them.  Both are in neonatal intensive care because they were ….. several weeks early but there is regular contact. And we have both mobile numbers, if we need to contact them at all, there is very clear communication of what the plan is and sorry its pure excitement, we cannot believe how blessed we are and to be blessed and have a child is a miracle but twins is a double blessing.

Tourism representative who build the hotel with the intended parents when we come, has been great with organizing drivers and taking us to the market to buy things we need for the baby. So if we need to go anywhere and do anything then we just call ….. and she organizes the driver to take us where we need to go.”
